3. Booking and Reservations

3.1 Booking Process

To arrange a yacht booking, you must:

  • Be of a minimum age of 18 years
  • Provide truthful and complete details
  • Pay the required advance fee as indicated in your reservation confirmation
  • Consent to these Terms & Conditions

3.2 Confirmation

Booking confirmation is issued after payment is received in full and communicated in writing by us. Service can be declined at our discretion.

3.3 Availability

Charters depend on the accessibility of vessels and favourable weather conditions. Every effort will be made to accommodate your booking preferences.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Pricing

All quoted prices are in € and are comprehensive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices may change without prior notice.

4.2 Payment Schedule

  • Initial Deposit: 50% of the overall charter cost, due on reservation
  • Final Payment: Payable 48 hours prior to the charter’s commencement
  • Other charges, if applicable: Payable after the charter’s conclusion

4.3 Payment Methods

Payments can be made using major credit cards, electronic funds transfer, or bank-certified cheques. Our payment process employs secure and encrypted methods.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Customer Cancellations

  • If cancellation occurs 72 hours before departure: A full refund minus service fees
  • If cancellation occurs between 24 to 72 hours before departure: A refund of 50%
  • Cancellation less than 24 hours before departure: No refund issued

5.2 Weather Cancellations

Should the captain deem weather conditions as hazardous, we may:

  • Offer to reschedule your booking to an alternative date at no extra cost
  • Provide a complete refund if no rescheduling is feasible

5.3 Mechanical Issues

If mechanical difficulties arise with the assigned yacht, an effort to offer an equivalent substitute will be made. Should this not be possible, an entire refund will be granted.

6. Safety and Conduct

6.1 Safety Requirements

All guests must:

  • Adhere to all instruction from the crew
  • Utilize safety equipment when necessary
  • Inform us regarding any health conditions affecting their safety
  • Stay within the designated vessel areas

6.2 Prohibited Items

Certain items are not permitted on board, including:

  • Glass containers
  • Prohibited substances
  • Guns or any weapons
  • Excess non-alcoholic beverages (beyond reasonable consumption)
  • Animals (unless cleared in advance)

6.3 Conduct

Passengers must behave respectfully at all times. Charter services can be terminated ahead of schedule without refund in cases where behavior endangers safety or disturbs other guests.

7. Liability and Insurance

7.1 Our Liability

We limit our liability to the charter's cost. We are not accountable for:

  • Injury due to passenger negligence
  • The loss or damage to personal belongings
  • Indirect or punitive damages
  • Delays prompted by weather or events outside our authority

7.2 Insurance Coverage

Our operations are fully covered by comprehensive marine insurance. It’s advised that passengers have their own travel and personal insurance.

7.3 Assumption of Risk

Engaging in our services implies acknowledgement of the inherent dangers of marine activities and assumes responsibility for individual safety.

8. Modifications and Itinerary Changes

Itineraries and schedules may be adjusted due to weather, safety, or operational demands. Comparable alternatives will be offered when feasible.

9. Force Majeure

No accountability for delays or alterations stemming from events beyond our control, including but not restricted to:

  • Dire weather conditions
  • Natural catastrophes
  • Regulatory mandates
  • Harbor shut-downs
  • Technical failures
